BLUE SHANGRI-LA ESTATE,
BEHAI, PRC CLIENT: Confidential Terrene Craft International was engaged to prepare the landscape design works for a mixed high rise residential tower and townhouse development which included a commercial precinct and streetscape enhancements along the main road frontage. The central focus of the landscape design is a water course that meanders through the development which offers a range of passive recreational nodes along its course. Visually integrated into the water course is the main recreational node in the form of a swimming pool plus poolside cabana associated with the developments Community Facilities Building. Feature flowering trees were used to line the main pedestrian pathways through the site, while the balance of the planting palette of trees, palms, shrubs and groundcovers was selected from an array of tropical / sub-tropical plants suited to the local environment.
