KINGDOM OF FLOWERS ESTATE,
CHENGDU, PRC CLIENT: Confidential The Kingdom of Flowers Estate is a residential complex consisting of multi-storey residential towers surrounding a central landscape court all which is constructed over a podium with basement carparking and a COmmercial Precinct at street level. The Central Courtyard is a pedestrian only precinct consisting of smaller "courts" catering for different types of activities. The Central Courtyard is accessed iunternally from each tower block and also from the surrounding streets via a number of primary and secondaru pedestrian entries. A water course meanders through the Central Courtyard which provides a linking element between all the individual courts. In keeping with the estate name "Kingdom of Flowers", the plant palette selected includes a number of fowering deciduous and evergreen plants to provide a multi-seasonal floral display for the residents enjoyment.
